You do not need a full hour on the mat to feel the benefits of yoga. A focused 15-minute morning routine can wake up your body, clear mental fog, and set a calmer tone for the day ahead.
Start with three to five rounds of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) at an easy pace to gently warm up the spine, shoulders, and hamstrings. Follow this with a few standing postures like Warrior I and Triangle Pose to build heat and improve circulation.
Add a short seated twist and a forward fold to release tension in the lower back, then finish with two minutes of simple Pranayama - slow, deep breaths through the nose - to settle the nervous system before you start your day.
Consistency matters more than duration. A short daily practice done regularly will improve your flexibility, energy, and mood far more than an occasional long session.
If you would like personalised guidance on building a morning routine that fits your body and schedule, our instructors at Yogis Academy can help you design one during a private session.
